I’ve been with this agency since August 2022, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. While they initially offered me great policies and discounts, the lack of communication and accountability from Jose and Alison quickly became apparent.
The real trouble started when I had an issue with my first car insurance policy. It was resolved after a month or two, but then things got worse. In May 2024, my car’s motor went out, and I called to cancel the policy. Jose advised me to “freeze” the policy, as I mentioned I planned on buying a new car eventually, so I trusted his advice. Fast forward to July 2024, I bought a new car and called for an adjustment. Jose assured me there would be no extra fees—just the usual monthly payment.
Then, in August 2024, I received a surprise $480 charge. Jose and Alison couldn't explain where or why this bill came from. I repeatedly asked for clarification, but instead of help, I was given vague answers and outright lies, like being told by Alison that "billing only works once a month" when I reached out, and Jose simply said, “I’m just reading what I have on my screen” for months and kept saying it was an overdue payment but would never explain how could I be overdue on a payment when I’ve always paid my bill on time or even early and would proceed to just keep saying the same thing. They will NEVER call you back, email you back or even text you back even if you ask them too every time you make contact.
After three months of frustration, I reached out to customer care, who connected me with my new agency and SAP department. It turns out that Jose and Alison had suspended my policy in May but on June 3rd someone decided that I still had a car that I didn’t have and proceed the billing instead of doing their job and suspending the policy for that month causing the system to bill me. Now, my new agency is cleaning up their mess all within a week before my insurance was scheduled to be cancelled so I had make a extra payment of $160 because Alison & Jose decided to spilt that $480 charge into 3 payments due to a hurricane that happened in SEPTEMBER 2024 that didn’t even effect me so this was even more confusing.
I only spoke to Josh once and he was very nice, nothing towards him. He tried to understand my situation but then again the whole thing is a mess.
I cannot recommend this agency due to their lack of professionalism, transparency, and accountability. What should have been a straightforward experience of asking me for my bill of sale in MAY turned into a long, stressful ordeal for August-November for me. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
P.S why could you guys never fix my legal name? That should be the easiest and most important part of my policy.
